Cómo sentir la energía de las piedras; Una guía para meditar y estar más presente.

How to feel the energy of stones; A guide to meditating and being more present.

Welcome!

The second blog arrived on April 17, 2024.

Today I will tell you about how to feel the energy of stones, starting with the energy that surrounds us and your very being. Imagine being a stone on the beach, being changed by the waves of the sea. The sea being the energy that flows and surrounds us, us being that rock that receives the waves of energy, that caresses us, changes us and flows around us. Returning to your own body, now imagine that stone coming to you, to your hand, radiant, but how to feel beyond what you see? To begin with, we have our unique energy, the one that flows and mixes with our surroundings, like a river reaching the sea. It sounds like a fairy tale, but that fairy tale magic lives within us. You can access that magic right now. Allow me to guide you in this exercise to reconnect with yourself and with the present moment.

Let's start together... Connect with your breathing. Feel your feet on the ground, how they connect to the earth, the roots, your energy, your arms and the branches. Start to focus your mind on how you breathe, how the air enters and leaves you, how it feels in your lungs, your abdomen. Your mind tries to think of something else, we live in a busy world, full of so much anxiety, memories, experiences, things to do... Don't worry, it's normal, but now that you've noticed that your mind has started to wander to the future or the past, come back to the present. Remember your breathing, if it helps, count your breaths...
one inhale... two exhale... when you get to ten without getting distracted just start again.
This exercise only starts by bringing your awareness to the present. Let the world go on, you are on vacation, all those thoughts will be there when you return.
Explore your body When you feel firmly in the present, begin to feel your body, starting at the top of your head. Does it weigh you down? Do you feel tension? Breathe and relax your jaw, close your eyes and continue down your body. How do your shoulders feel? Are your ears tense? Breathe and let them return to their natural state, let your muscles dissolve those knots of stress. How do you feel now? Breathe deeply and let's continue. How does your chest feel? Your belly? Do you have a weight, a knot, a hollow that feels like the air is not reaching your lungs? Breathe, feel how your body expands as it receives air, feel how it deflates. Imagine now that what is blocking your being comes out with each exhalation to be purified by the earth, animals, plants and stones. Now with each inhalation new energy comes in, fresh and different. Feel how that weight becomes lighter, the hollow smaller, how that knot is undone. Where are your hands, your arms, how do they hang? Are they bent, closed on your chest? Are they hanging at your side? Resting on your legs? Do your hands feel restless? Breathe and feel the heat of your body radiating towards them, feel the cold when you move them away from you. Try rubbing them together. That friction is energy, feel, analyze and breathe, let's continue.
Now we come to your legs. Feel their power, even if you don’t walk, your legs are the bridge between the earth and the rest of you. If you can, flex them, feel them, how does it feel to move them? Flex your muscles, how does it feel? Breathe and stretch them, relax your muscles. Now we come to your feet. Plant them firmly on the floor, if you can do it without shoes. Feel how each part of your foot touches the floor. Put your weight on one, then the other. Now put your weight on the balls of your feet. Feel how this changes your connection with your body and the ground beneath you. Now come back to your whole body. What do you feel? Breathe, and focus your mind again on how it feels to breathe, imagine how that air transforms as it moves through your body, how it changes and another element comes out of you. Feel how your muscles are now not as they were before. What changed? How do you feel about your body, how do you feel in it?
Now that you know how to be in the present, how do we get to feel the energy that is not yours? First it is important to know that this takes practice, sometimes patience, and time. Sometimes we can only focus on breathing. There will be days when your mind will not leave you alone, other times it will be your feelings, heavy, or too much emotion. Sometimes this exercise ends in tears, sometimes it ends in nothing. That is how we humans are, perfect creations of nature, only sometimes we disconnect from the universe, from other living beings, and sometimes we disconnect from ourselves. Sometimes we make mistakes and we feel like the world is ending. Things happen to us and we lose control and you feel like the sea wants to drown you.
Being in the present is your lifeline. It won't solve everything, nor give you the answers you seek, but it does help you float when your spirit is sinking.

Now that we know that, you're probably wondering, what does it have to do with stones?

In the last blog we talked about chakras and amber. Do you want to remember it? Click here.

If you remember, amber carries stories and wisdom from the earth itself. Other gemstones do the same but with different energies, they bring to different chakras, they change your energy in different ways.

Since we know about amber, let's start there.

Amber is fire, it is a drop of sunshine. Its energy is like warm electricity, always vibrating. It helps us to light our inner fire. It drives us to follow our instincts, it lights the spark.

Now, you have practiced being present in your body, in the exact moment, feeling your body and how your energy flows. In the previous blog we also talked about the main chakras, you also have them in your hands. One chakra in the center of the palm, one in the wrist, and the rest in each finger. That means that they can be conduits of energy from you outwards and from outside to you. The left hand is for receiving energy since the chakras go clockwise and the right hand sends your energy since it goes counter-clockwise. Each chakra in your hands corresponds to the chakras in your body that we talked about in the previous blog. Part of our hands connects to the rest of our body. So this is where it is easiest to feel the energy. But how to start? Let's continue with the amber. Put it in the center of your hand and close your fingers. What do you feel? the coldness of the stone? Do you feel how it warms up when it touches your skin? Now imagine that its energy, that of the resin, all those years of training, that wisdom connects and begins to pass through your veins reaching the chakra that corresponds to it. In the case of amber, that is Manipura, the impulse that you needed is now there. Try to increase your consciousness and focus on that piece of the universe that you have in the palm of your hand. Even if you don't believe in magic, every living being, every object has its own vibration, try to feel it. At first you may not feel anything, sometimes it will be like electricity, or a slight tingling in your fingers. This is a daily learning process, of practice. It doesn't have to be long, or short, or at the same time or every day. It's as simple as sitting at your desk working and feeling your mind heavy and focusing on breathing and on the now.
The process will become faster and faster. It will become easier and easier to silence your mind going a thousand miles an hour. And the day will come, the moment when you will put on earrings, a bracelet, a necklace or even just pick up a rock and you will feel a connection with something bigger than ourselves, like a grain of sand in the sea. This is how the process of learning to not only be more present, less stressed, less trapped in our thoughts begins. Many years of learning have led me to be able to do just that, to feel the energy outside of myself, now I can teach you. Come see this amber ring with Saint Benedict at the store, feel it. I can guide you. You can also find it on the website by clicking here.
If rings aren't your thing, there are amber earrings that are just as energetic. Beyond amber, let me tell you about two other stones that connect to other chakras.
Starting with citrine, which clears the chakras, helps you enter into prosperity, success and wealth. It also works with the Solar Plexus, the Manipura chakra, like amber. That is why it is related to wealth, prosperity and success, since our solar plexus is our impulse. Another stone is amethyst, very popular for its violet or purple color, bright and relaxing. This stone helps activate the Ajna Chakra, the one between the eyebrows, and will help you be aware, enlightened. See things with a clearer perspective. If these stones catch your attention, we have a necklace with both stones. It will give you illumination and an impulse to follow your goals. Come to the store to see it for yourself or find it on my website by clicking here.
